En este trabajo se presenta una metodología por seguir para el Análisis Dinámico de Presas Térreas desarrollada a partir de la propuesta por Harry Bolton Seed (1970), utilizando las herramientas que se tienen en el país. Paralela al desarrollo de ésta se muestran los resultados obtenidos para una presa hipotética de 100 m. de altura, de enrocado, con cara de concreto, localizada en el departamento de Santander, zona que se ha caracterizado por una alta sismicidad.
