KINEMATICS is a part of mechanics that studies the elements by means of which it is possible to describe MOTION. It is assumed as based on a general postulate about the absolute accuracy of measurements, which should always be present on the mathematical developments required for the description of particle motion. The need of clarifying this problem about measurement is shown through the discussion of the first and second problems of kinematics.
