The different properties studied in ceramics Y1−xPrxBa2Cu3O7−δ, show that the addition of praseodymium (Pr) to the compound YBa2Cu3O7−δ (YBCO) affects the properties of the superconducting system, as well as the properties in the normal state. The resistivity results indicate a reduction in the critical temperature (Tc), and a value of saturation of 60 % of replaced ions, for which the superconducting state is broken. The results obtained by X-ray diffraction (XRD), show a linear increase in the network parameters, therefore, in the volume of the orthorombic cell. With the morphologic study it is observed variation in the distribution and granular size.
