The paper presents a review of the phase-space formulation of the quantum mechanics in the sense that the density operator can be identified whith phase-space probability densities and the observables can be described by functions on phase-space. This allows the calculation of expectation values as integral s like to the ones of the classical statistical mechanics. We consider the Weyl, Wigner and Husimi methods and the relationships between them.
