Análisis de las distorsiones cognoscitivas de madres de niños con malformaciones congénitas

Se buscaron diferencias entre madres de niños con malformación congénita en el uso de esquemas distorsionados en el Procesamiento de Información (PI), referido a las causas, pronóstico y consecuencias del evento sobre la madre y el grupo familiar. Se diseñó y aplicó el Inventario de Distorsiones Cognoscitivas ante el Nacimiento de un Bebé con Malformaciones Congénitas a 42 madres que asistieron al Instituto Materno infantil (IMI). No se observaron diferencias significativas en torno a compromiso estético o funcional en la puntuación total de la prueba, las escalas, o tipo de esquema; ni en torno al género del recién nacido, ni a información médica del embarazo. Se hallaron diferencias significativas en los grupos de la variable procedencia en cuanto a puntuación total, y las escalas inferencia arbitraria, generalización y maximización-minimización. También hubo diferencias significativas entre los grupos de consanguinidad y diagnóstico prenatal con la escala inferencia arbitraria.
There were looked differences in mothers with congenital malformation children's in the use of distorted outlines in the information process (IP), refered to causes, prognostic and consequences on the event over the mother and the familiar group. Inventary of cognitive distortions was designed and applied in the case of a child born with congenital malformations in 42 mothers that assisted to the Instituto Materno Infantil (IMI). There were no significative differences about aesthetic or functional compromise in the total score of the test, scales or scheme type, nor around the gender of the early born, nor in pregnancy medical information. There were found significatives differences in the precedence variable groups about total score and arbitrary inference, generalization and maximization-minimization scales. Also, there were significative differences between consanguine groups and prenatal diagnosis with arbitrary inference scale.
