The impact of economic, geotechnical, and operational scenarios on net present value (NPV) in open-pit mining was evaluated using the Marvin instance from MineLib. The analysis was developed in RStudio on a fixed benchmark envelope based on the UPIT solution, comprising 8,516 blocks and 527.147 Mt. Six configurations were compared using pit value, maximum cumulative NPV from the heuristic waste, and strip ratio. The market scenario showed the best economic performance, with a pit value of 745.680 MUSD and a maximum cumulative NPV of 33.951 MUSD. The base case recorded the best physical efficiency, with 38.837 Mt of scheduled favorable material and a strip ratio of 0.648. It is concluded that, under fixed geometry, value capture depends on valuation, accessibility, and temporal extraction sequence.
