El propósito del presente trabajo es explorar e integrar algunas ideas en tomo a la vaguedad tratando de comprender ciertas facetas de su estudio en el contexto de las lógicas no clásicas, particularmente la lógica para consistente y la lógica difusa. De la primera, se destaca un nuevo giro en el tratamiento de la contradicción; de la lógica difusa se retoma para el análisis lingüístico el concepto de cerca; se caracterizan algunas cercas semánticas y se propone el estudio de las cercas semánticas de la proposición como un tipo de modalidad del enunciado que se propone llamarla modalidad liminar.
