'McLengua': la identidad del inglés como problemática de la traducción actual

En el contexto de dos fuerzas opuestas que dominan el mundo en la actualidad, la tribalización por un lado y la globalización por el otro, la autora examina las funciones del inglés como lingua franca. El inglés, "propiedad universal", se presenta como una herramienta al servicio de la comunicación supracultural, para la comunicación en la práctica profesional a nivel internacional, y también como medio de expresión de culturas locales. Se discute el papel de la traducción en este contexto y se presentan sugerencias para la formación de traductores cuya lengua materna no es el inglés.
