Focus and Scope
Since 1962, Geología Colombiana publishes original contributions dedicated to the Earth Sciences, in particular those related to Colombia, South America, and the Caribbean, but also from other regions, if they can have comparative significance, disseminate knowledge, innovations, methods, techniques, interactions with society etc. It is a magazine specializing in Geoscience, published by the Department of Geosciences of the Nacional University of Colombia, Bogotá, but with a wide network of international collaborators.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
