Ética, sociedad y medio ambiente

Este artículo es la reproducción del último numeral correspondiente al cuarto capítulo del libro “El Retorno de Icaro, Muerte y Vida de la Filosofía” que será publicado próximamente por la Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. Hay que entenderlo, por lo tanto bajo la perspectiva con la que se ha escrito dicho libro. Allí se pretende debatir la encrucijada en la que se halla cualquier interpretación ambiental, acorralada entre el reduccionismo de las ciencias naturales y el sobrenaturalismo filosófico de la ciencia sociales. Unas ciencias naturales que no comprenden al hombre y unas ciencias sociales que no reconocen los vínculos con la naturaleza. Si se aplica este criterio al estudio de la sociedad o de la cultura, habría que entenderla como el resultado del proceso evolutivo, pero al mismo tiempo como una ruptura con relación a las formas evolutivas anteriores.

La cultura no está en los genes, pero tiene vínculos con la naturaleza, que las ciencias sociales no han querido aceptar. Ello tiene consecuencias éticas y políticas. Así como no existe una ética ecosistémica, toda ética humana debe ser consciente de sus relaciones con el medio. Quizás esa propuesta traiga una nueva visión de lo que es la libertad.

This article is a reproduction of parts the fourth chapter of the book 'The Return of Icaro, Death and Life of the Philosophy”, that will be published by the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. The book intend to debate the crossroad in which any environmental interpretation is finned: penned between the reductionism of natural sciences and the philosophical sobrenaturalism of the social science. Between some natural sciences that don't understand the man and some social sciences that don't recognize the bonds with the nature. If this approach is applied to the study of society or of culture, it would be necessary to understand it as the result of a evolutionary process, but also at the same time as a rupture with the previous evolutionary forms.

The culture is not in the genes, but it has relationships with nature, the social sciences have not wanted to accept this fact. It has ethical and political consequences. As well as there is no ecosistemic ethics, all human ethics should be aware of its relationships with the environment. Maybe this proposal will bring a new vision of what is freedom.
