The Anthropological Roots of Religion and Mystic

A partir de la existencia de una voluntad deliberativa en el alma humana y de su relación con el carácter predicativo-proposicional propio del lenguaje de los hombres, se intenta en este artículo explicar los fenómenos de la religión y la mística. Éstas son vistas como dos posibles respuestas al problema de la mala suerte. A la base de toda religión y toda mística está, asimismo, la pregunta de cómo relacionarse con las frustraciones.

Based upon the existence of a deliberative will in the human soul and of its relation with the predicative-propositional nature of human language, this paper explains the phenomena of religion and mysticism. These are considered as two posible answers to the problem of bad luck. Likewise, grounding religion and mysticism, stands the question of how to relate oneself with frustrations.
