Background: Although iron is essential for many physiological and biological functions, increased iron levels in malignant tissues may be linked to more rapid tumor growth and colonization. Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the iron levels in tumor and non-tumor tissues and assess how they relate to the size and stage of the tumor. Methodology: Following chemical analysis, tissue samples were obtained from individuals with malignant tumors from a number of hospitals in the Dhi Qar Governorate.  ICP-MS analysis was performed on the samples, and standard measurement formulae were developed to guarantee accuracy.  Following sample classification, the data was examined using a t-test and Pearson statistical analysis, with a significance level of p < 0.05.   Findings: There was a definite relationship between iron levels and tumor development.  When compared to unaffected tissues, the values in damaged tissues were noticeably greater.  Additionally, compared to early tumors, the concentrations were greater in advanced cancers.  In conclusion, iron has a role in fostering an atmosphere that supports the formation of tumors.  Iron management techniques should thus be investigated as a possible treatment component, particularly in high-risk locations.
