We investigate a nonlinear fractional boundary value problem of order \(4<\alpha\le5\) with Riemann-Liouville derivative and boundary conditions \(u(0)=u'(0)=u''(0)=u'''(0)=u'''(1)=0\), modeling a viscoelastic cantilever beam. Using Green's function techniques and the method of lower and upper solutions, we prove the existence of at least one positive solution under a natural growth condition and a monotonicity assumption. Explicit bounds for the solution are obtained via an auxiliary function. We also establish Ulam-Hyers stability, establishing robustness of solutions under perturbations. A concrete example is provided to illustrate the theoretical results.
