This document indicates some recommendations to carry out energy management according to the ISO 50006 parameters, using also some tools of the industry 4.0 applied in the measurement and analysis of energy consumption data to make baselines consumption and indicators required in any industry seeking to implement energy efficiency projects. As a study case, a mining project in Colombia is presented which, due to its considerable energy consumption, makes it very useful to implement the recommendations indicated in this document.
