Author Guidelines

Interested persons are encouraged to submit their work related to the event's topics.

Requirements for article submissions are as follows:

Articles must contain technical aspects and must comply with the following:

• Use the UIS Ingenierías journal format (download the template here)
• Articles written in both English and Spanish are accepted, but in accordance with the policies of UIS Ingenierías journal, publication priority will be given to those written in English.
• The article must be submitted in both ".docx" and ".pdf" formats.
• The minimum length is 6 pages and the maximum length is 20 pages.
• The following structure must be followed: (1) header, (2) abstract, (3) introduction, (4) method(s) or methodology, (5) results, (6) conclusions, (7) references. The suggested headings do not have to be used, but the methods or methodology and results must be included in the article, and conclusions must be drawn from them.
• The abstract must be written in both Spanish and English. It should be structured in a single paragraph, and should not contain citations, mathematical formulas, or exceed 150 words. Keywords in Spanish and English must be included along with the abstract, and should be alphabetically organized and separated by commas.
• References should follow the IEEE style, which allows citations without altering the syntax of sentences. The minimum number of references is 15, and they should be from scientific sources such as books, articles, and presentations.
