We are pleased to announce that Acta Biológica Colombiana has been accepted for indexing in the Thomson Reuters Web of Science (WoS): Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), the new edition of Web of Science™ and in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), in which the annual Impact Factors are published. Thomson Reuters soon will begin indexing Acta Biológica Colombiana content.

Every journal included in SCIE has met the high standards of an evaluation process. Content in this index is under consideration by Thomson and are selected based on a number of criteria, including journal quality, coverage of emerging scientific fields and importance to the academic community.
