La política exterior de Donald Trump puso en tela de juicio varios de los fundamentos del orden internacional liberal en la que, por décadas, la superpotencia había respaldado su liderazgo. El presente trabajo indaga acerca de los factores que explican este fenómeno, a partir del análisis de las transformaciones políticas y económicas que ha tenido la sociedad estadounidense, y de la manera como ellas se vieron reflejadas en las principales decisiones de esa administración.
Donald Trump’s foreign policy called into question several of the foundations of the liberal international order in which the superpower had endorsed his leadership for decades. The present work inquires about the factors that explain this phenomenon based on the analysis of political and economic transformations in the US society and how they were reflected in the principal decisions of that administration.
