Análisis comparativo de algunos métodos de estimación del Hidrograma Unitario Sintético

Se presenta un análisis comparativo de lo métodos de estimación del Hidrograma Unitario Sintético. Este análisis comparativo se hace aplicando los diversos métodos propuestos a una misma cuenca y comparando los resultados obtenidos y, en algunos casos, comparando los resultados obtenidos con observaciones en las cuencas y con resultados por otros procedimientos. Los análisis comparativos se hicieron utilizando varios indicadores que describen de una manera detallada los hidrogramas de es- correntía directa obtenidos. Para el análisis comparativo se usaron resultados encontrados en la literatura y en trabajos dirigidos de grado realizados en la Facultad de Minas. El análisis realizado muestra la gran variabilidad de los resultados obtenidos con los diferentes métodos, y cuando hubo posibilidad de comprobar los resultados con mediciones de campo los mejores resultados se tuvieron con el método de Williams y Hann. Se presentan en este estudio finalmente algunas conclusiones y recomendaciones.
A comparative analysis of several synthetic unit hydrographs estimation procedures are presented. This analysis is done by applying all methodologies to the same watershed and, in some cases, by using observed watersheds hydrographs and results obtained with others procedures. The comparative analysis used several indexes to describe direct runoff hydrographs and the similarities between computed and observed hydrographs. For the comparative analysis results reported in several thesis at the School of Mines, National University of Colombia, and in several papers were also used. Results shows great differences between all methodologies, and when comparisons were made with measured hydrographs the best results were obtained with the Williams and Hann Synthetic Unit Hydrograph model. Some conclusions and recommendations are finally presented.
