It is essential to encrypt files to protect them, with the purpose that only the users with the required decryption keys can visualize or handle them. This research proposes a new encryption method that implements the tent, sine, and logistic chaotic systems, employing eight keys corresponding to the parameters of the discrete systems and another four keys of variable length for the constant modification of the parameters of the mathematical models. Additionally, the use of variable keys makes it significantly more difficult for an unauthorized user to decrypt the data or detect the keys employed for encryption. To verify the sturdiness of the cryptosystem, a series of tests were carried out on the encryption system through the deployment of histograms, correlation diagrams, the NPCR, the UACI, entropy, the avalanche effect and the key sensitivity, obtaining excellent results.
