Decision-Making Support of Truck Selection: A Systematic Review

Apoyo para tomar decisiones sobre la selección de camiones de transportes de carga: una revisión sistemática

Trucks are attached to many industries in different sectors like an industrial equipment. For this reason, select a truck without consider the best attributes for the company could cause futures problems. Therefore, this article presents a systematic review of studies that approach quantitative and qualitative decision-making support methods and attributes that help on collecting of precision data. Thus, a framework was created to describe the factors and characteristics of studies, like the application types, hybrid models, sources and data validation. As result, 11 articles were selected from 893, published in English. And from the accepted articles valuation, multicriteria methods and a quality tool were found both applicated in decision-making support. Also, all the criteria, sub-criteria and attributes applicated by all the 11 authors in the methods were presented in this article and they were classified in 12 factors to simplify them.

Los camiones de transporte de carga son utilizados por empresas de transporte u otras que los utilizan como equipamiento industrial. Para diferentes contextos, seleccionar un camión sin considerar los atributos que mejor se adaptan a la empresa puede causar problemas operacionales y afectar el control de calidad. El objetivo del trabajo es describir una revisión sistemática de estudios científicos que proponen métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos para apoyar la selección de camiones y los atributos que ayudan a obtener informaciones de rendimiento sobre los vehículos. Primero se clasificaron los estudios científicos por diversos factores y características como, por ejemplo, combinaciones de métodos y modelos, tipo de aplicación, origen y validación de datos reunidos. Después se seleccionaron 11 trabajos de 893 estudios científicos, publicados en inglés. Y a partir de la revisión de los estudios, se encontraron métodos multi-criterios y una herramienta de calidad aplicada para apoyar la toma de decisiones. También se presentaron todos los criterios, sub-criterios y atributos utilizados por los autores en la aplicación de los métodos y para simplificarlos se clasificaron a partir de 12 factores.
