How to publish in MOMENTO, Journal of Physics?
Authors must submit their manuscripts directly to momento_fcbog@unal.edu.co and comply with the journal’s submission requirements. Each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial review, reviewer search, and double-blind peer review. Revised versions may be requested before acceptance, and accepted articles are published online on MOMENTO’s website. Peer Review Process
Once the manuscript has been received and has passed the initial review by the Editorial Committee, MOMENTO begins the search for peer reviewers who are experts in the subject area of the article. For this purpose, the journal takes into account the keywords, the topic of the manuscript, and, when applicable, the reviewers suggested by the authors. Selected reviewers must be external to the authors’ institution.
The journal conducts peer review under a double-blind system. In the first stage, potential reviewers are sent the title and abstract of the article. Once they accept the invitation, they receive the full manuscript together with MOMENTO’s evaluation form. Based on the reviewers’ reports, the Editorial Committee makes the corresponding decision regarding the manuscript.
