It stands out through the way of rereading Oedipus myth, disjunction that exists between vision and glance in psychoanalysis. Following the path of Oedipus´s enquiry, with his desire to know and reveal that unknowable, it is stated the question: ¿Why does the glance avoid castration and why does the evil eye raise in the living the affliction and ominous of the dead?
