de la Escuela "Luiz Queiroz" de San Paulo, acaba de publicar un interesante folleto, resumen de los trabajos que en el Brasil se han realizado sobre el importantísimo tema de las serpientes venenosas. Para conocimiento, especialmente de los estudiantes de medicina, recomendamos la lectura del opúsculo del Profesor de zoología de San Paulo. En seguida traducimos el capítulo 20 sobre las supersticiones relacionadas con las serpientes. Los habitantes de los llanos y de las orillas de nuestros grandes ríos, conocen estos relatos fantásticos que son una verdadera curiosidad, por cuya razón recomendamos su entretenida lectura.
