Parece ser ya de dominio público la presencia endémica del tifo exantemático en Bogotá. Está aceptado por los clínicos, comprobado por los experimentadores y protocolizados los virus dentro y fuera del país en los laboratorios. Las comunicaciones se han hecho en la Academia y en reuniones científicas de la Federación Médica buscando el ambiente de la discusión técnica. Este punto ha pasado a la categoría de cosa juzgada por la ciencia. Quedan ahora para la investigación de los expertos y para la discusión médica, las divisiones específicas de los virus exantemáticos de Bogotá. A dicho tema se refiere este informe prelimiriar para que se abra la discusión .sobre eli virus murino.
