Lesiones Dermatológicas y nerviosas en la lepra tipo tuberculoide

El conocimiento de las lesiones tuberculoides de la lepra, es importante para los dermatólogos, médicos en general y para la Salubridad Pública. Este tipo de lepra se presenta en organismos dotados de resistencia específica al bacilo de Hansen. La antigüedad de un foco leprógeno y su actividad, puede calcularse por el mayor o menor número de casos de forma tuberculoide. La predominancia del tipo lepromatoso indica actividad de la endemia. En Colombia, la mayoría de los enfermos presenta el tipo leprornatoso de la Clasificación de El Cairo.
