La estrategia de entornos de trabajo saludables en Bogotá: evaluación y propuestas de ajuste - 2011

Antecedentes. En 2006, la Secretaría Distrital de Salud (SDS) adoptó la estrategia de entornos de trabajo saludables impulsada por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS), para mejorar la calidad de vida de la población vinculada a las Unidades de Trabajo informal en Bogotá.
Objetivo. Evaluar la estrategia de entornos de trabajo saludables impulsada por la Secretaría Distrital de Salud desde al año 2006 y aportar a su ajuste.
Materiales y métodos. Se empleo la metodología de investigación evaluativa, incorporando la sistematización de los informes anuales, fichas de visita, acompañado de la realización de una encuesta a trabajadores y empleadores beneficiarios de esta iniciativa y la realización de grupos focales.
Resultados. Se identificaron las fortalezas y debilidades de la Estrategia, que para el año 2010 había llegado a 22.274 Unidades de Trabajo Informal y 55.867 trabajadores y trabajadoras. Se propuso pasar de una intervención individualizada a una colectiva, orientada a las características de subsectores informales, con referencia al territorio y a las cadenas productivas.
Conclusiones. El vínculo Universidad-Instituciones públicas, ofrece un marco de colaboración para el fortalecimiento de políticas públicas que restituyan derechos, aún en los limitados marcos del modelo de salud imperante en el país
