El uso de los conceptos de multiplicador en la literatura económica

El término multiplicador ha sido utilizado en diversos contextos y con diversos significados en la teoría económica.  A menudo se olvida, que la relación keynesiana entre inversión e ingreso trabaja a través de cambios en el dinero y su velocidad ingreso. Además, el multiplicador keynesiano tiene poco valor predictivo. El efecto multiplicador de Young por su parte, tiene el merito de ser endógeno al sistema. Surge de una tasa constante de crecimiento y del efecto del interés compuesto, y puede ser vinculado a la estrategia de Sector Líder. Otros multiplicadores, como el de Insumo - Producto y el de los medios de Pago en realidad no lo son. El uso del término, al parecer, ha sobrevivido a su utilidad.

The term multiplier: has been used in different contexts and with different meanings in economic theory. It is often forgotten that the Keynesian relationship between investment and income works through changes in money and in its income velocity.  Besides, the Keynesian multiplier has little predictive value. Young's multiplier affect, for its part, has the merit of being endogenous to the system. It comes from a constant rate of growth and from the compound interest effect, and it can be linked to the strategy of the sector Leader. Other multipliers, like the Input-Outpue multiplier, and the Means of Payment multiplier, are not really multipliers. The use of the term has apparently outlived its utility
