En los últimos años el Laboratorio Nacional de Nanotecnología ha creado una iniciativa de divulgación de la nanociencia y nanotecnología en Costa Rica. En el 2014 se incorporan la Universidad Nacional, la Universidad de Costa Rica y la Universidad Estatal a Distancia. Este proceso busca incentivar vocaciones científicas, aumentar el interés por la ciencia y tecnología, fomentar en los estudiantes la curiosidad científica y mostrar la investigación científica realizada en el país en este campo.
The national laboratory on nanotechnology has created the initiative about divulgation of nanotechnology and nanoscience. Later, The Universidad Nacional, Universidad de Costa Rica and Universidad Estatal a Distancia were incorporated to the process. This process seek encourage to scientific vocation, increasing interest in science and technology, promote students' scientific curiosity and show the scientific research conducted in this field in Costa Rica.
