Peer Review Process

The manuscripts must be submitted according to the Author guidelines. If the manuscript fulfills those minimum criteria, this will be sent to three expert reviewers in the specific area of knowledge following a double-blind procedure. Two of the experts are external to the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and the third one belongs to the research and teaching staff of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. If the article is accepted for publication, the author(s) must introduce the suggested corrections within the terms indicated by the editor. If two of the peer reviewers consider that the scientific level of the manuscript is not acceptable for publication, the manuscript will be rejected. Finally, the Editorial Committee reserves the right to accept or reject the submitted manuscripts.

Open Access Policy

The journal provides an immediate open access to its content. It makes research freely available to the public and supports a global exchange of knowledge. There is no submission or publication fee.
