Objetivo: validar o conteúdo e a aparência da tecnologia didática e instrucional intitulada Punção venosa periférica para família, junto aos familiares acompanhantes de crianças hospitalizadas.
Métodos: trata-se de um estudo metodológico do tipo validação de tecnologia. Os participantes foram familiares acompanhantes de crianças hospitalizadas submetidas à cateterização intravenosa periférica. A coleta e a análise dos dados foram realizadas com base no Índice de Validação de Conteúdo, que considera desejável o valor igual ou superior a 0,80.
Resultados: a cartilha foi validada na primeira rodada, na qual se obtiveram índices máximos na maioria das variáveis, com índice de validação de conteúdo global igual a 0,98. Entretanto, alguns familiares apontaram alterações a serem feitas no material.
Conclusão: objetivo proposto pelo estudo foi alcançado, uma vez que a cartilha está validada quanto ao conteúdo e à aparência de acordo com a avaliação do público-alvo.
Objective: to validate the appearance and c0ntent of the didactic and instructional technology entitled Peripheral venous puncture for the family with accompanying relatives of hospitalized children.
Methods: this is a methodological study of the technology validation type. Participants were accompanying relatives of hospitalized children undergoing peripheral intravenous catheterization. The analysis and data collection were performed based on the content validation index, considering a desirable value equal to and greater than 0.80.
Results: the booklet was validated in the first round, obtaining maximum indexes in most variables with a global content validation index of 0.98. However, some relatives pointed out changes to be made in the material.
Conclusion: the objective proposed by the study was achieved since the booklet is validated as to its appearance following the evaluation of the target audience.
Objetivo: validar la apariencia de la tecnología didáctica e instruccional titulada Punción venosa periférica para la familia junto a los familiares acompañantes de niños hospitalizados.
Métodos: se trata de un estudio metodológico del tipo de validación de tecnología. Los participantes fueron familiares acompañantes de niños hospitalizados sometidos a cateterización intravenosa periférica. El análisis y recolección de datos se realizaron con base en el índice de validación de contenido, considerado con valores deseables iguales y superiores a 0,80.
Resultados: la cartilla se validó en la primera ronda, obteniendo valores máximos en la mayoría de las variables con índice de validación de contenido global igual a 0,98. Sin embargo, algunos familiares sugirieron cambios en el material.
Conclusión: se alcanzó el objetivo propuesto por el estudio una vez que la cartilla está validada en cuanto a la apariencia de acuerdo con la evaluación del público objetivo.
