Introducción: la enfermería pediátrica se enfoca en el cuidado de la niñez y de la adolescencia, posicionándose como un recurso que comprende de manera empática a estas poblaciones y facilita la conjunta satisfacción de las necesidades de salud en sus diferentes contextos de atención (individual, familiar, comunitario o social).
Objetivo: analizar algunas de las implicaciones de la enfermería pediátrica durante la emergencia sanitaria por COVID-19.
Síntesis de contenido: se exponen algunas implicaciones de la enfermería pediátrica, como, por ejemplo, el mejoramiento de los estilos de vida a través del uso de herramientas “online” apropiadas para cada grupo etario. Por ello, el desarrollo de una investigación debe orientar la elaboración de recursos de información sobre una enfermedad determinada y cómo prevenirla, con lo cual se busca promover un rol educativo y de asesoría más activo que permita satisfacer las necesidades imperantes en la población pediátrica.
Conclusiones: las implicaciones del cuidado de la enfermería pediátrica para la niñez y la adolescencia deben basarse en evidencia científica acorde a los intereses de esta población y el trabajo interdisciplinario de los profesionales en el área.
Introduction: Pediatric nursing focuses on the care of children and adolescents, positioning as a resource that empathically understands these populations and, hence, facilitates the satisfaction of health needs in different care contexts (individual, family, community or social).
Objective: To analyze some of the implications of pediatric nursing during the health emergency due to
COVID-19.
Content synthesis: Implications of pediatric nursing are exposed; for example, the improvement of lifestyles using appropriate online strategies for each age group. The development of research studies should then lead to the creation of information resources about a given disease and how to prevent it, in addition to promoting a more active educational and advisory role that allows satisfying the prevailing needs.
Conclusions: The implications of pediatric nursing care for children and adolescents must be based on scientific evidence according to the interests of this population and the interdisciplinary work of health professionals.
Introdução: a enfermagem pediátrica concentra-se no cuidado de crianças e adolescentes, posiciona-se como um recurso que compreende empaticamente essas populações, o que facilita a satisfação conjunta das necessidades de saúde em seus diferentes contextos de cuidado (individual, familiar, comunitário ou social).
Objetivo: analisar algumas implicações da enfermagem pediátrica durante a emergência de saúde devido à covid-19.
Síntese de conteúdo: foram expostas implicações da enfermagem pediátrica, por exemplo, a melhoria dos estilos de vida por meio da utilização de estratégias on-line adequadas a cada faixa etária. Por isso, o desenvolvimento de pesquisas deve orientar à criação de recursos de informação sobre a doença e como preveni-la, além de promover um papel educativo e de consultoria mais ativo que permita satisfazer as necessidades existentes.
Conclusões: as implicações da assistência de enfermagem pediátrica para a criança e para o adolescente devem ser embasadas em evidências
científicas, de acordo com os interesses da população e do trabalho interdisciplinar.
