Siguiendo mi plan de revisión en la familia de las Litráceas, resolviendo los problemas taxonómicos y tipificando según el Código de NomenclaturaBotánica, todos los taxones creados, por una parte, y, reuniendo los conocimientos actuales, por otra parte, a fin de adelantar las floras en preparación y la Monografía final, presento el estudio del género Crenea para cuya investigación palinológica he solicitado la colaboración de M.-T. CERCEAU LARRIVAL
The taxonomical revision of the genus Crenea shows that there are only two species. Descriptions, keys, illustrations and distribution map are given. Pollens are neatly different. Affinities of Crenea with Verrutricolporites rotundiporus (fossil) are commented.
