The study of the collections housed in the Colombian National Herbarium (COL) resulted in the discovery of three new species of Ardisia Swartz, from Parque Nacional Las Orquídeas, the area around Barbacoas, and the Chocó flora of Valle. The new species, Ardisia cogolloi, Ardisia pseudoracemiflora, and Ardisia cabrerae are discribed, illustrated, and their phylogenetic relationships are discussed. Ardisia dodgei Standley, previously known only from the southeastern Pacific Slope of Costa Rica, is recorded for the first time from Antioquia and Vaupés.
