Se registra por primera vez para Colombia la roya Puccinia fumosa parasitando a Loeselia glandulosa perteneciente a la familia Polemoniaceae. Es el primer registro de esta familia botánica y del género Loeselia siendo parasitados por Pucciniales en Suramérica. Se describen por primera vez las mesosporas de Puccinia fumosa.
The rust fungi Puccinia fumosa is registered for the first time for Colombia parasitizing Loeselia glandulosa belonging the family Polemoniaceae. This is the first record of this family and genus Loeselia parasitizing to Pucciniales in South America also. The mesospores of Puccinia fumosa are described or the first time.
