In this article it is proposed to solve the mathematical model of a non-linear electronic circuit using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), as an alternative to the traditional numerical methods. A simple test circuit, comprising one current source, two linear resistors and a diode, was used as an illustrative example. Afterwards, a more complex one, comprising one current source, four resistors and two diodes, was implemented. Based on the simulations results, it was concluded that PSO is a viable choice for solving this type of systems.
