LA EDUCABILIDAD COMO PROYECTO DE FORMACIÓN DESDE LO HUMANO: COMPONENTE FUNDAMENTAL DE Y PARA UNA REFLEXIÓN PEDAGÓGICA SOBRE COMPETENCIAS

EDUCABILITY AS A PROJECT OF FORMATION FROM THE HUMAN: MAIN COMPONENT FOR A PEDAGOGICAL REFLEXION ABOUT COMPETENCES

La preocupación actual del gobierno nacional y las universidades colombianas por mejorar la calidad de la educación es reconocida ampliamente. Las recientes políticas y lineamientos educativos que determinan tal preocupación han hecho que la Universidad amplíe sus campos de trabajo y pase de ser una Institución dedicada a la educación de sus estudiantes a través de la instrucción académico/disciplinar -que era su función fundamental-, a ser un Ente dedicado a la formación, la investigación y la proyección social.  Empero, es relevante pensar que estas funciones de la Universidad -plasmadas en sus currículos ahora construidos bajo el modelo de competencias- necesitan con anterioridad una consideración sobre el ser humano, la cual solamente es posible realizarse en cuanto la educación posibilita pensar a ese ser humano -actor del proceso educativo- de una manera que lo involucra totalmente desde su ontología, pero, además, le particulariza desde una perspectiva gnoseológica y ética. Es decir, la educación se entiende como un escenario en el cual los actores involucrados en escena aparecen como personas diferentes y, por lo tanto, la dialéctica de sus encuentros, les permite comprender que la educación es posible gracias a que son seres humanos perfectibles. Considerar estas razones es el papel de lo que se ha denominado Educabilidad. Este texto pretende auscultar en la comprensión misma de la educabilidad, proponiendo no solo que ésta es la basa de toda reflexión pedagógica y será fundamental para modelar una educación por competencias en nuestro País, sino que debe ser entendida desde una consideración humanista, la cual es diferente de una consideración antropocéntrica. Sobre la Educabilidad y su relación con la Educación y la Pedagogía, su caracterización como fundamento de la actuación pedagógica, su relevancia para configurar una “verdadera educación por competencias” y su incidencia en las funciones de la Universidad nos referimos en esta ponencia.

The current worry of the national government and Colombian universities to improve the quality of the education is widely recognized. The recent policies and educative features, that determine such worry, have caused that the university expands its work fields and gets its way from an institution devoted to the education of the students through an academic/disciplined instruction –which was its main function- , to become in an entity devoted to the formation, research and social projection.  Nevertheless, it is relevant to think that these university functions –captured in its curriculum built under the model of competences- need time before a consideration on the human being, which is only possible to come true in the way education facilitates let us think about the human being- educative process actor- in a way that involves him totally since his ontology, but also particularly since a gnoseologic and ethic perspective. It means, education is understood as a scene in which the actors involved appear as different people, that’s why, the dialectic of its gatherings allows them to perceive that the education is a reality thanks to consider that they are human beings likely to increase. To consider these reasons is the role of the educability.This text intends to explore the comprehension of the educability itself, proposing not only that these are the basis of the main pedagogical reflexion, essential to shape an education for competences in this country, but to know that  they must be conceived from a humanist conception, which is different from an anthropocentric one.  According to educability and its relation with the education and pedagogy, its description as a basis of the pedagogy performance, its relevance in order to consider a “truly education by competences”, and its incidence in the university functions is what this paper refers.
