Literatura: teoría, historia, crítica is a bi-annual publication of the Literature Department of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia which aims to promote and present research on literature. All academic contributions debating issues relating to theory, criticism and history of literature are welcome. In the past we have published essays by academics and critics such as Roberto González Echevarría, Eduardo Camacho Guizado and Vladimir Just and articles and interviews from writers such as Nuno Júdice, Eduardo Chirinos, Ricardo Cano Gaviria and Roberto Burgos Cantor.

Only unpublished and original articles as well as translations of works in the field of literary studies will be accepted. The work can be the product of research projects, personal reflection or academic articles in the area. The journal’s editorial committee shall appoint two Colombian or foreign academic peers who will issue an opinion on the articles and recommend their publication or not. The journal uses the Modern Language Association (mla) citation system. Articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese are accepted. Presentation Guidelines
We shall only receive unpublished articles written in the journal’s official languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, or French. We shall also accept translations into Spanish of relevant studies in the field, which are not widely known in our context. We request that interested authors consult the journal’s full policies and guidelines before submitting their texts for evaluation. The journal uses the MLA citation system. Timeline and Submission
The deadline for submitting articles for this for this miscellaneous issue is May 31 2024. As soon as contributions are received, they shall be immediately reviewed by editorial staff and sent to peer evaluation (when appropriate).
