Existen sólidas evidencias observacionales y teóricas de que
la cantidad de materia visible en el universo solo forma una
pequeña parte de su masa. La mayor parte del universo
está constituido principalmente por un sector oscuro de
naturaleza aún desconocida. En este artículo se realiza una
descripción de las evidencias gravitacionales de la existencia
de la materia oscura, posibles explicaciones de su naturaleza
y su conexión con la física de partículas.
The astrophysical evidence of non luminous matter shows us
that the ordinary visible matter is just a small portion of all
the mass in the universe. Our universe is mostly composed
by an unknown dark sector. This paper discusses some
gravitational effects of the dark matter, possible theoretical
explanation about its physical nature, and connections with
particle physics.
