The paper deals with the experimental investigations, performed in laboratory scale, related to measurements fo induced voltages in the loop created by model of low voltage installation, placed in proximity of air spark simulating lightning discharge. The measurements have been performed for two cases, when loop was placed in parallel and perpendicularly to the impulse magnetic field lines inside of the metallic shield (cage) with different number of conductors. Exemplary results of measurements are presented and discussed with particular stree to the shielding reduction effects
