The 12th edition of the International Symposium on Power Quality – SICEL 2025, a biennial event with a track record dating back to 2001, was held from October 21 to 24, 2025, at the Institute of Electrical Energy (IEE) of the National University of San Juan – CONICET, in San Juan, Argentina.
SICEL, established as a renowned international event in the field of electric power, brought together experts and professionals from around the world to discuss and share knowledge on various topics, including the energy transition, electromagnetic compatibility, power quality, power systems, the WEF Nexus, energy communities, smart grids, energy management, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
During the symposium, current and relevant topics in the electric power industry were addressed, with special emphasis on the energy transition and technological modernization, which are among the sector’s top priorities today. Participants had the valuable opportunity to learn about the latest advances in renewable energy integration, efficient electricity demand management, regulatory challenges, and innovations in metering systems. The 2025 edition of SICEL continued to foster the exchange of knowledge and experiences, consolidating its position as an undisputed benchmark event in the field of power quality.
