This paper shows a comparative study of a grounding grid when it is affected for a current impulse. An experiment was done with the aim of compare it with theoretical results bases on electromagnetic and antennas theory. The soil was modeled as homogeneous half space with plane boundary, characterized by conductivity, permittivity, and permeability constants.
