Evaluating Power Quality through electromagnetic fields radiated from Electrical Systems

This paper presents a brief summary of previous work proposed as new ways to measure the power quality trough electromagnetic fields radiated from distribution system. Such measures have permitted to find relations between electromagnetic phenomena than disturb the wave shape and the electromagnetic waves’ entropy. Irregularities, distortion, aging transformer and overloading are detected by entropy. Moreover according to this new study, power factor measurement of the radiated fields, is shown in this research report.
