NEW METHODOLOGY FOR EVALUATION OF POWER QUALITY IN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES

The aim of this paper is propose a new methodology for Power Quality (PQ) evaluation in industrial facilities. In the first part, it is going to present the way of choosing this methodology, which was achieved comparing several ones worldwide used. Afterwards, the validation and application of the methodology are shown. These ones were carried out by means of measurements and analysis in a real industrial facility. Furthermore, an electric diagnostic of the industrial facility was accomplished. Finally the conclusions and recommendations are presented.
