This paper integrates concepts of mathematical optimization with the particularities and uncertainties of the execution of electric infrastructure projects, as a fundamental basis of a methodology to support decision making in project planning, where an erroneous decision may cause high over cost and delays.
This methodology is based on the representation of the problem of the execution of electric infrastructure projects in Colombia, through an adjusted model of Multimode resource constrained project scheduling problem in electric infrastructure projects (MRCPSP). It seeks to minimize the duration of the project and the costs associated with it, taking into account that the resources available for the project are classified as renewable and non-renewable.
