La fotografía es uno de los más excitantes campos de creación visual; sin embargo ocupa un lugar menor en las investigaciones históricas en Colombia y se encuentra relegada tanto en el campo de las artes plásticas como fuera de él. En este texto se intenta ofrecer un recuento general de la bibliografía existente sobre el tema en el país, comentando los textos más relevantes.

Photography is an exciting field of visual arts. Nevertheless,
it has elicited little interest among researchers in
Colombia. This text offrers a brief bibliographic summary
on the topic, covering the main texts produced
on the subject.
