The objective of the article is to discuss the importance of the Amazon biome for the Brazilian economy during the post-pandemic recession, and we will highlight possible strategies to explode the economy without promoting the destruction of the Amazon. We show that, together with REDD + and the Amazon Fund, forest bonds represent good strategies for exploring the Brazilian economy sustainably, demonstrating that it is possible to improve economic activity without increasing deforestation in the Amazon or emissions of greenhouse gases. The Amazon is a biome of global importance to avoid another global crisis, which will occur if we reach the climatic tipping point of 1.5 ° C. As a result, the text proposes that government actions should go towards their preservation, not exploration and exhaustion as it currently occurs. The hypothetical deductive methodology used.
