EDAD Y PESO AL INICIO DE LA PUBERTAD Y SEGUIMIENTO DE LOS TRES PRIMEROS CICLOS ESTRALES EN NOVILLAS HOLSTEIN

Con el fin de determinar la edad
y el peso al inicio de la pubertad, la
relación existente de estos con la
concentración de progesterona
previa a la primera ovulación y caracterizar
el perfil progestacional
desde la pubertad hasta el tercer
ciclo estral, se tomaron 10 hembras
Holstein entre los 9 y 11.5 meses
de edad, las cuales se mantuvieron
con una ganancia diaria
de 0.7 Kg/día; para esto, con antelación
a la formulación de la ración
se realizó análisis proximal de Van
Soest y digestibilidad in situ a los
alimentos. [...]
