Hasta ahora hemos tenido oportunidad de estudiar muestras
de garrapatas que están constituidas por las especies que describiremos a continuación. Las muestras se deben en su mayoría a las que han sido remitidas con objeto de que sean clasificadas por los veterinarios nacionales y a ejemplares sometidos a nuestro estudio por algunos otros de nuestros colegas, que las han coleccionado con el mismo fin.
Garrapatas del ganado vacuno:
Boophilus annulatus (Say). Sinónimos: Margaropus annulatus,
Rhipicephaltis annulatus.
