Conferencia pronunciada para el Curso Pre-Universitario de 1953, por el Profesor Alejandro Patino Patiño.

Señores alumnos del año Pre-Universitario:

Cerrando el ciclo de conferencias con el que se ha buscado ayudarles en la escogencia de la ruta profesional que decidirá sobre sus actividades del futuro, quiero hablarles de mi profesión,

escogida libremente, al igual que lo harán ustedes, en una época en que el optimismo y el intacto caudal de las energías vitales hacen más anchurosos y amables los horizontes del vivir.
