El rápido desarrollo de los conocimientos sobre la hepatitis infecciosa de los perros ha demostrado que esa entidad es tan importante y grave como el moquillo canino. Es una insidiosa

enfermedad a virus, no transmisible por el aire pero propagada por el contacto con las secreciones corporales de los perros clínicamente enfermos y por la orina de los portadores reestablecidos.
